Hosts & partners

The places that opened their doors.

Since our first meeting in a “Corrugated Box,” more than 70 organizations across greater Richmond — downtown, Manchester, Southside, Glen Allen, Scott’s Addition, Ashland and the West End — have welcomed encorepreneurs to show us who they are and what they do.

Hosting a breakfast

Show 150 Richmond leaders what you do.

One of our goals is to introduce our guests to businesses, schools, museums, churches and other places they might not otherwise visit — and to highlight deserving organizations to an audience of RVA leaders.

These are general guidelines. We care most about a good experience for our guests, and we’ll gladly work with you to overcome any difficulties.

Apply to host Ask a question
The morning
Breakfasts are typically attended by 125–175 people, begin at 8:00 and end before 9:30. Bagels, pastries and coffee usually come from an outside caterer; hosts sometimes provide refreshments, but it’s never required.
Registration & breakfast space
People arrive in a tight window, so we need room for three 6–8 foot registration tables with easy flow in and out — plus a large open space for 3–4 refreshment tables and standing networking.
Program space
Seats for a minimum of about 150, theater-style — a guideline, not a rule. We’ve sat in rented chairs, auditorium seats, church pews, stadium seats and dining-hall chairs, and have even been known to stand.
A/V & tables
Some programs need a projector; others don’t. We’ll fit the program to the space. We typically need about six 6–8 foot tables: three for coffee and pastries, three for registration.
Parking
Often the hardest requirement. Because we meet early, very few people share rides — so we need nearly as many spaces as attendees.
