About The Robinson Theater
Built in 1937, the Robinson Theater is a sophisticated example of Art Deco Moderne architecture and was the center of activity for the thriving Church Hill community.
It is named for Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, a native son of Richmond who became “the toast of Broadway, dazzling audiences with his remarkable footwork.” It was Encorepreneur!'s 41st host location.
