UMFS
More than a century of helping Virginia's children and families succeed.
About UMFS
For more than 115 years, UMFS (formerly United Methodist Family Services) has been helping children and families in Virginia. It is a nonprofit agency that provides a comprehensive array of programs to meet the needs of high-risk children and parents, enabling them to overcome challenging circumstances and succeed.
A national leader in helping children, UMFS also proactively works to identify unmet social service needs throughout Virginia and develop partnerships to address them. Encorepreneur! meets in Firefly Hall, the newly remodeled cafeteria on its West Broad Street campus near Scott's Addition.
