Woody Funeral Home – Parham Road
A Richmond family business since 1905, with a community room near Regency.
About Woody Funeral Home – Parham Road
Born in Richmond shortly after the conclusion of the Civil War, Henry W. Woody lived all his life in the city and established the Woody Funeral Home near Historic St. John's Church in 1905.
The business outgrew the original facility, and a new, more modern building was built at 25th Street and Jefferson Avenue in 1916. Mr. Woody continued to serve families of the greater Richmond area from that location until his death in 1958. The company now has four locations, including the Parham Road facility where Encorepreneur! meets in the community room.
